Feel my frustration.


I completely get the idea of watermarks, they protect our work from theft. But they get in the way of my art :(

For the longest time I couldn't figure out what to use as a watermark, everything was either too cheap looking, too distracting, or just covered up my whole picture. Everyone I talked to on a professional level has told I NEED to use a watermark but I was so lost. I finally found a way to make my own artist watermark as of today, if you're in the same boat and you like the example on the header, watch the video below:

Social Medias


Now, having watermarks on my store samples is one thing but my Instagram and Facebook are another. I want to be able to freely post my photos without the worries of it getting stolen, but social media is the #1 place to get media stolen. Not always is it malicious intent, but it's still theft and this is my business and it cost me money. So what do I do? I believe Instagram and Facebook should implement a no screenshot feature like Netflix and pay-walled photo editing software use, but optional like hiding like counts.


There are apps I can use like SCRL (not sponsored in anyway) to make seamless collages on instagram, which could potentially help. For now I will continue not using one on my social media accounts, screenshots are not the highest quality format so I'm not too worried about it.
